What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

What have you learnt from your audience feedback? For our ancillary tasks and our production we used a variety of methods to collect feedback from our audience. We decided to do this because we wanted to see if people liked our ideas and they fitted in with the conventions of our genre, we collected our feedback from our target audience which were majority teenagers who were interested in the indie genre. From our feedback it showed us which of our ideas were strong and what we could do to improve but also it gave us a wide range of honest opinions, from this it helped us plan our music promotion. A disadvantage about getting feedback from our audience was that some people felt nervous about what to say because they didn’t know what to say so just agreed with our ideas without giving an honest opinion. Also from our feedback some of it was detailed from some people however some people were very brief with their feedback making it hard to work on this. One way of collecting audie...

Audience Feedback- Final Magazine Advert

Image
Audience Feedback - Final Magazine Advert Nathan Green - "It looks so much better now that the release date is smaller. The size of it is right as well because it's not bigger than the album name or your name, but it's still visible" Elizabeth Potts - "It looks so much more professional now that there are social media icons, the album name and song names look great" Jamie Cross - "I like that you've changed the main image to match the new colour scheme" I feel that the new magazine cover is a massive improvement from the first rough edit and I am glad that I decided to change the colour scheme. In the first rough edit the colours did not match so it did not look very professional. What I learnt from this first edit is that the main image should not be as big as it is, the album name should be included so that the audience is aware of what is being advertised

Audience feedback- First Digipak Draft

Image
Audience Feedback - First Digipak Draft First Advert; Nathan Green - "I think you should get rid of the space at the bottom of the digipak, and the main image on the front cover is too big. I suggest taking a different picture and using that" Elizabeth Potts - "The boarder behind your name on the front cover doesn't go with the rest of the digipak, you should get rid of it completely" Matthew Pick - "The disc I feel doesn't synergise with the rest of the digipak, use a different image"

Audience Feedback-First and Second Magazine Draft

Image
Audience Feedback - First and Second Magazine Draft First Advert; Elizabeth Potts - "I think you should make your name smaller and have the album name included so people know what the album will be called. The release date needs to be smaller as well." Nathan Green - "Maybe you could make the release date smaller." James Arthey - "The album name should be on the magazine advert" Jamie Cross - "Re-size the main image and add more text, try adding in the names of the songs from the album." Second Advert; Elizabeth Potts - "The album name could be placed above the image along with your name" Nathan Green - "The release date should be added, possibly somewhere are the bottom but do not make it bigger than the album name." James Arthey - "The star rating should be smaller, change it so that it is placed in the centre."
